IAAC Celebrates start of New Year 2012

A 45-seater boat was hired by IAAC to provide well over four hours of cruising on the Lake Burley Griffin. The cruise was booked full to its capacity and another dozen odd friends were on the waitlist.

It was fun-filled evening with the participants enjoying every minute of the cruise. Dr. Mohan Singh organised an "Antakshari" in which almost everyone participated.  Best of all, Hitendra brought and played his "Dhol".  Then there were jokes, songs, mingling and plenty of dances. It was a BYO function with softdrinks, nibblies and dinner provided by IAAC. The tasty 3-course dinner was catered by Masala Hut Indian Restaurant. 

The skipper was very helpful and put in his best efforts to get us the best views of the fireworks from the lake.
