IAAC Announcements

IAAC CULTURAL FUNCTION:

 

The IAAC committee is seeking expressions of interest from members to participate in the annual IAAC cultural function.  Interested members should forward their details and category of choice to perform ie dancing, singing, acting etc.  All age groups are welcome to participate.  Please register your interest at culture@iaac.org.au by 15 May 2005.

 

 

IAAC LOGO COMPITETION:

 

The IAAC is asking members to design an inaugural IAAC logo.  After entries have closed, the best logo will be selected by the IAAC committee. The new logo and competition prize winner will be announced at the IAAC Annual Function.  Please submit your entries at logo@iaac.org.au  by 30 May 2005.

 

 

IAAC SPORTS COMPETITION REMINDER:

 

1.      Badminton:     Singles, doubles, and mixed doubles and for juniors up to 14 years.

2.      Chess

3.      Tennis:        Singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

4.      Bridge

5.      Golf:              Nine holes

6.      Snooker

7.      Table tennis: Singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

 

Interested participants are requested to send their entries to the respective coordinators by Tuesday 10 May 2005. There is an entry fee of $5 per player per event plus some additional court charges and ball fees except for chess.

Participants shall be informed of the draw including venues, dates and times for matches once all entries have been received.  All participants have to be current/financial IAAC members/cardholders.  Those who are not members currently can pay the membership fee and take up membership (including other benefits) to be eligible to participate in selected tournaments.  Membership forms can be downloaded from www.iaac.org.au.
