IAAC Membership Cards and Discounts

Hello Everyone,

IAAC Committee is delighted to inform that On behalf of the IAAC members, we have negotiated discount scheme for financial IAAC members with select business establishments. These establishments will offer discounts to IAAC financial members on presentation of IAAC card and some form of identification, for example, Drivers License. We are thankful to these establishments for supporting our community organisation. The following establishments have agreed in principle to offer discounts:

• Exotic Spice Grocery Store, Belconnen - 10% discount on grocery items.
• Taj Agra, Belconnen - 20% discount excluding home delivery. This offer is extended to upto 3 guests accompanying a member.
• Kohinoor Indian Centre, Braddon - 10% discount on grocery items
• IGA Kambah - 5% discount on grocery items
• Spice Market, Philip - 10% on grocery items
• Spice Land, Florey - 10% on grocery items, minimum cash purchase of $25.
• Tandoor Restaurant, Belconnen - 10% discount
• Jehangir Restaurant, Swinger Hills - 10% discount
• Blue Elephant Restaurant, Braddon - 10% discount
• Charcoal Roosters Cafe & takeaway, Braddon - 20% discount.This offer is extended to upto 3 guests accompanying a member.
• Jewel of India, Manuka - 15% discount on Monday to Thursday only
• Taj Agra, Weston Creek - 20% discount excluding home delivery. This offer is extended to upto 3 guests accompanying a member.

We are also under negotiations with other major establishments to come on board, so stay tuned. The agreement has been reached with these establishments in good faith to help the community and these establishments have the ultimate right and may use their discretion not to honour the suggested discount should they deem a misuse of the privilege that is being offered to IAAC financial members. Please appreciate the fact that these establishment have come forward to help the community and are not able to give discounts on fixed price items, for example, news papers and phone cards etc. Please see individual Grocery store for details as certain conditions may apply.

As you are aware the discount also applies to ticket price on IAAC sponsored events where an entry fee is required. The discount will be at least 20% or more to IAAC financial members.

The IAAC cards have been issued and sent out to the current financial members today at the postal address recorded in our database. Please advise us if you haven't received your card by the end of the week, i.e.., 21/01/2005 and you are a current financial member. All new members will be issued IAAC card upon receipt of the membership fee. If you have received your card and you notice some errors, please contact IAAC at india_australia_association@yahoo.com.au or any of the phone numbers listed on the web-site.

Don't miss the discounts on offer and for those who are not current financial members join now to become an IAAC financial member to start getting the benefits from today. The application form is attached in this email for your convenience who wants to join, simply print it out and send it via mail or submit to any of the IAAC committee member. As you know, IAAC is a community based organisation and rely on its members for the financial support in the form of membership fee. This discount scheme is an appreciation of the support provided by the members.
